A boat-trip around the island
Boat trips can be arranged on request and as the weather allows.
By seeing the island from the sea, you get the most impressing view of nature and birdlife.

The boat leaves from the harbour, crosses under the Runde Bridge towards Maaganeset, and goes at slow speed further along the shore. You get the opportunity to see the various bird-colonies. If the weather is suitable, the trip goes on trough "the green lagoon" and we visit the well-known caves in Branden. We also pass the area, where the "Runde treasure" was found in 1972, and Rundetinden where, according to the legend "the Castle" (a Spanish ship) sunk in 1588.
